The idea, however, apparently, is not yet extinguished. The two presidents and fathers of the original project worked on the spot to modify the initial proposal in order to make it more palatable to all and more meritocratic without losing, however, the much coveted spectacle of which they spoke from the beginning.
The new proposal is called European League and would be structured in two groups that will include, each season, of playoff, playout, relegations e promotions. This structure, according to the organizers, would make it possible to keep the quality of the matches offered high, guaranteeing appointments with a high entertaining rate, without however missing the part of meritocracy that was so lacking in the now old Super League.
