The Undersecretary of Public Health, José Luis Satdjian, said this Friday that a stage in the vaccination plan against covid-19 was closed.
The hierarch indicated that from July 1 it will not be necessary to schedule and the Vaccination for people over 18 years old will be exclusively on Tuesdays, in “conventional” vaccinations, which will be defined in the next few hours by the health authorities. In the case of children, vaccinations will be concentrated on Thursdays.
As with the rest of the vaccines (not covid), you will no longer have to register and you can go directly to the vaccination headquarters. The only difference is that, for covid, the administration of doses is concentrated in one day (one for adults and one for children) to avoid doses are spoiled. It happens that each bottle of Pfizer for adults allows to vaccinate six people and the pediatric ones to ten children. Therefore, it is sought that the opening of these vials adjust to the demand.
At the same time, starting this Friday, the Antel Arena, the icon vaccination center of the campaign against covid-19, will no longer be the venue for administering the doses. Since the pandemic began, 8.6 million doses have been executed, Satdjian reported.
