Belposhta holds XXVI republican competition of professional skills of postal workers.
At the Druzhba recreation center in Ostroshitsky town, 42 contestants are already fighting for victory. These are seven teams that represent all branches of Belposhta and the production of Minsk Post. The competition is attended by heads and deputy heads of postal facilities, who became the best according to the results of the regional and Minsk city stages of the competition.
– Every year, every competition is a new stage that gives our employees an incentive to develop in their profession and improve in working with clients. Some of our best specialists gather here, whose experience helps other employees create even more convenience for our clients,” said General Director of Belpochta» Svetlana Yurkevich.
During the opening, the participants presented their business cards. The creative performances demonstrated by postal workers were dedicated to the Year of Peace and Creation and World Post Day.
By the way, the competition of professional skills helps strengthen the corporate spirit of the company’s employees, allows them to improve their professional skills, creative and business qualities of employees.
Also present at the event Minister of Communications and Information of the Republic of Belarus Konstantin SHULGAN, who noted that “no processes can take place without the participation of postal workers. What you do makes what we plan and improve possible. We create all the conditions for your work to be most effective.”
We talked about plans and achievements. For example, Konstantin Shulgan said that new services are planned as part of the development of the national electronic mail system. It is planned that all these projects will be implemented by the end of 2023.
And Svetlana Yurkevich added that this year a very important result of the industry’s work was the transition to e-commerce, which consumers like. “We have already organized a pilot project with two sites, and we will further develop this area,” added the general director.
