A relative of a celebrity could become famous across the country.
Natalya Varley has already become the favorite of the Soviet audience from her first roles. She managed to play many bright characters who have long become cinema classics. Her younger sister Irina could have taken a similar path, but the famous actress made sure that didn’t happen.
Irina entered the cinema at the age of 16. At that time, Natalia was already a big star and her younger sister only went to the acting club. But on the advice of a relative, she went to the audition for the film “Waltz” and got the lead role of her.
Subsequently, there were two more films in the artist’s career: “Premature Man” and “Yulka”. In them, Irina showed a decent play, thanks to which the directors and the audience were sure that she would surely follow in the footsteps of her sister and she would become famous. However, the artist chose a completely different fate.
As Irina herself admitted, she did not want to become a movie star precisely because of Natalia. She saw what difficulties her sister was facing and how difficult the work of an actor was, so she chose a completely normal profession for herself, having received an education in engineering and civil engineering.
Since that time, Natalia Varley’s younger sister never appears on screens. She leads a quiet life and recently celebrated her 69th birthday.
