The Red Bull driver leads the standings, with 393 points, and is one victory away from reaffirming his dominance in the championship and possibly securing his fourth consecutive title in the top flight. However, if the McLaren driver manages to triumph in Las Vegas, he would keep alive the possibility of fighting for his first title in the category.
Nonetheless, The Argentine Franco Colapinto driving a Williams will also have the opportunity to demonstrate his talent once again in his seventh GP, with the hope of capturing the attention of the teams for the 2025 season. Currently, Colapinto does not have a guaranteed place for next year, because the British team has already hired Carlos Sainz, who will join the team along with Alex Albon.
