How to use the secret conversation feature in Facebook Messenger

“Data protection” is a crucial issue that we must not neglect – at all costs. Social networking networks create an environment in which the duty to expose our self is perceived. Be it our status, pictures, the food we eat or places we travel to. Well, Facebook is a big social giant that always promises to keep our privacy intact.

Not many of us know, but some time ago Facebook introduced an end-to-end encryption feature called “Secret conversations” to secure our conversations. Not only does it back up, messages in secret conversations can also disappear after a certain time. But there is a small caveat: first you need to activate the function manually, since it is not activated by default when installing Messenger.
