Apple has a virtual voice assistant named Siri, which is very popular among its users. However, the service does not work without an active internet connection on your Apple device. But, this is no longer a requirement.
With the latest iOS 15, Apple added Siri offline support, allowing users to perform certain tasks using Siri even when the device is not connected to the internet. This is made possible by on-device processing which can handle requests offline, without the need for the Internet.
In this step-by-step guide, we’ll show you how to use Siri offline on your iPhone or iPad. Note that the feature is currently available only in the English language of the United States. So make sure you have selected the correct language for the virtual assistant to work offline.
How to use Siri offline on Apple iPhone
Step 1: Open the ” Settings ”on your iPhone or iPad and choose“ Siri and Search ”.
2nd step: Now press the ” Language ”, then choose the option“ US English ”.
Step 3: Return to the Settings page and go to Siri & Search> Siri Answers.
Step 4: Now make sure the toggles for “Always show Siri captions” and “Always show speech” are on.

In this guide, steps 3 and 4 relate to customizing Siri responses to always display captions and Siri speech. Although it may seem unnecessary, the virtual assistant does not work without activating them.
Also note that not everything works for Siri without an internet connection. Even without an active internet connection, you can use the voice assistant Siri to control system settings such as enabling dark / light mode, low power mode, AirPlane mode, enabling accessibility features, opening apps, controlling music player, etc.
