How to use ICQ and MSN Messenger sounds in WhatsApp

Now WhatsApp commands, but in the past there were other popular messengers; Among them ICQ and MSN Messenger are some of the best known.

WhatsApp has more than 2,000 million users worldwide, without a doubt, it is the leading App among messaging services. However, some years ago there were programs that, each in its time, were the most chosen to communicate, for example the now defunct ICQ and MSN Messenger.

For their part, those nostalgic who used them will now be able to enjoy it again, thanks to a simple trick. In this sense, to use the traditional ICQ and MSN Messenger ringtones on WhatsApp, you must search for a series of videos on YouTube.

WhatsApp: what is the “black list” for your contacts

To begin, the videos must be located in the search engine, with the following words: “ICQ sound” and “MSN Messenger sound”. Several clips will appear on the portal: it is recommended to choose the short ones (with a single ringtone, without repetition) being that you will use it as a notification.

Once the user chooses the one of their preference, they must copy the URL address of the video, go to a site that allows downloading YouTube videos, paste the address and choose the alternative of downloading it as MP3, that is, only the sound.

Then you have to go to WhatsApp, in the three points that are in the upper right sector of the application: go to “Settings”, then to “Notifications” and finally to “Notification tone”. There will appear a list of sounds offered by the messenger and at the bottom you will see the option “Add tone”. That will open a file explorer and there they should locate the MP3 that they previously downloaded.
