Os iPhone 14, 14 Plus, 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max have several new features related to their camera sets.
The main one is the inclusion of mode of action (Mode of action). Through it, you can record videos with improved stabilization over common videos, which ends up being ideal for those moments with increased motion activity, for example.
To use it, the advice is to be in an environment with good light. If not, a prompt will appear on the screen to move to a brighter environment – you can even change these settings later (more on this in the next few paragraphs).
According to Apple, the Action mode can record videos with a resolution of 1080p or 2.8K at up to 60 frames per second. In addition, it supports Dolby Vision HDR or, on iPhone 14 Pro, the video format Apple ProRes.

Which iPhones are supported?
As mentioned above, Action mode is exclusive to the following iPhone models:
- iPhone 14
- iPhone 14 plus
- iPhone 14 Pro
- iPhone 14 Pro Max
How to activate Action mode
Open the Camera app and choose the “Video” option. Then tap the resource button, represented by a doll in action, located in the upper left of the screen. Finally, tap the red button to start recording the video normally.
How to use Action mode in low light environments
If you want to record a video in Action mode in a low light environment, do the following: Open Settings and go to Camera »Record video. There, activate “Action Mode: Low Light”.
While it does allow it, image stabilization will be slightly compromised this way.
