How to update your operating system
To update the operating system to the latest version, you need to go to the “Settings” menu, then select “General”, and then click “Software Update”, where the possible update will be visible.
It is noted that the update will be available for iPhone XS and later, iPad Pro 12.9-inch 2nd generation and later, iPad Pro 10.5-inch, iPad Pro 11-inch 1st generation and later, iPad Air 3rd generation and newer, iPad 6th generation and newer, iPad mini 5th generation and newer.
What new features will users have?
StandBy mode is a new full-screen operating mode that conveniently displays information in large font across the entire screen for viewing from a distance. Interactive widgets – these will be available on the iPhone’s home screen, lock screen and in the new home screen. Improved Auto Correction – iOS 17 includes a state-of-the-art language model for word prediction that will significantly improve Auto Correction on iPhone. NameDrop is a feature in iOS 17 that allows two users to share contact information simply by connecting their iPhones.
It also became known that there will be a sticker panel, contact posters, real-time voicemail, swipe to reply in iMessage, Apple Maps Offline and just Siri instead of Hey Siri.
Apple introduced iPhone 15
At the September presentation, Apple introduced the iPhone 15 line of smartphones. It consists of the basic iPhone 15 and 15 Plus, as well as the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max.
