How important are operating system updates?

– Updates enhance the security of the system, as it is known, malware is constantly evolving, so your system must keep pace with developments, and “Microsoft” may not support old versions of “Windows”, which increases the risk of infection with viruses and other malware. In practice, some updates close security holes, making it more difficult for cybercriminals to steal your personal information.
Updates facilitate compatibility with new software, as technologies evolve and new software is released every day, and these new software – especially device drivers, such as printer software – work better with recent versions of Windows.
– Updates make the computer run faster, as “Microsoft” sometimes makes improvements to “Windows” through updates, so, you may find that your system is more responsive and efficient after the update.
