How to turn off precise iPhone location tracking
For applications:
1- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
2- Swipe down and choose Privacy and Security.
3- At the top, click on Location Services.
4- Choose an app from the list to see if it uses your precise location.
5- Find the toggle button next to the exact location at the bottom, then press to turn it off.
When you turn off granular tracking, apps can still track your location, but it’s not granular. If you want to turn off tracking entirely for an app, select Never at the top.
If you want to turn off all tracking across the board, you’ll need to turn off the main Location Services switch.
