How to turn Bluetooth on or off on iPhone and iPad

Bluetooth is ideal for connecting short-range wireless accessories to your iPhone or iPad. If you need to turn Bluetooth on (or off) on your iPhone or iPad, you can take a quick trip to Control Center or Settings. Here’s how.

First, open the Control Center. On iPhones with home buttons, swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen. On iPads and iPhones without Home buttons, swipe down from the top right corner of the screen, near the battery indicator.

HOW TO LOCATE A HIDDEN OR LOST BLUETOOTH DEVICE?

When Control Center appears, press the Bluetooth button, which looks like a stylized “B” in a circle.

When Bluetooth is on, the Bluetooth button in Control Center turns blue. When you’re ready, exit Control Center by swiping it up or tapping an empty part of the screen.

You can also enable Bluetooth in Settings. To do this, launch the Settings app and select “Bluetooth”, then tap the switch next to “Bluetooth” to the “on” position.

In Settings, toggle the “Bluetooth” switch to “On”.

Using this same menu, you can also connect Bluetooth devices to your iPhone or iPad.

HOW TO ENABLE BLUETOOTH IN WINDOWS 11

While you can quickly turn Bluetooth on using Control Center (see the section above), to turn it off completely, you need to head into Settings.

To get started, open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.

In Settings, tap “Bluetooth”.

In Settings, tap “Bluetooth”.

In the Bluetooth settings, tap the button next to “Bluetooth” to turn it off.

In Settings, flip the “Bluetooth” switch to “Off”.

Bluetooth has been completely disabled and Bluetooth devices will no longer be able to connect. You also won’t be able to use features like AirDrop.

It’s worth noting that when Bluetooth is turned off on your iPhone or iPad, the Bluetooth icon in Control Center appears grayed out and crossed out.

If you want to turn it back on later, just tap the Bluetooth button in Control Center or turn the “Bluetooth” button back on in Settings > Bluetooth.

Good luck !
