One of the biggest benefits of being a resident of the Apple ecosystem is the seamless connection between multiple devices. If you have an iPhone and a MacBook, there are a lot of things that can be “transferred” between the two devices. And with iOS 16 and macOS Ventura, Apple added the ability to transfer FaceTime calls between devices, and it works with the iPad, too. Let’s detail how to transfer FaceTime calls between iPhone and MacBook.
Basic Requirements:
Your iPhone and MacBook must be running iOS 16 and macOS Ventura.
Bluetooth and Wi-Fi must be turned on on both devices.
Here are the steps you need to follow:
– Click on Settings
Go to the general
Tap AirPlay & Handoff
Toggle the Handoff option on/off
Now, when you make or receive a FaceTime call, a call notification will appear on the other device’s lock screen (or Notification Center) along with a suggestion to “Transfer call to this [الجهاز]. “
Tap the notification to turn on the call, or tap the camera at the top left of the screen, then tap the switch
A preview of the call will appear with camera, microphone and audio settings.
Make sure the Camera, Microphone, and Audio settings are what you want, then tap Change
The call will go to the new device, and a banner will appear on the original device confirming that the call is still in progress elsewhere, along with a switch you can tap to call back. Macs and iPads too. Make sure you are running the latest operating system on both devices.
