Previously, you needed a third-party app to take a scrolling screenshot on iPhone. But with iOS now, you can do it natively with webpages, PDFs, the Notes app, emails, and more in Apple’s proprietary apps. Further down, we’ll also see how to do this with content in third-party apps.
With this native iOS option, taking a scrolling screenshot or a “full page” screenshot gives you a PDF of whatever is on a document, web page, note, email in Apple applications.
Take a screenshot (press the side or top button and the volume up button at the same time) Tap the preview in the lower left corner before it disappears Choose the Full page option in the upper right corner You can preview all pages, use markup, and more before saving You can also tap the crop icon (square icon next to “Done”) to change the part of the complete page you want to save Press either Made in the top left corner to save or the Share button in the top right
Third-party apps to scroll through screenshots on iPhone
Another option for taking screenshots of scrolling content in third-party apps or for more manual control is to use an app like Picsew or Tailor.
Picsew has a higher average rating, but both have been optimized for the iPhone 12 as well as older iPhones. You can try both for free before you decide to purchase the full versions through an in-app purchase.
