Bobo.id – Friends who have an Instagram account, must be familiar with the Direct Message (DM) feature.
This feature is usually used to send messages to other accounts, without others being able to see it like in the comments column.
In fact, the Instagram DM feature can also be made into a group. We can invite several people to chat in DM.

Unfortunately, many abuse the features of this group. Have friends invited groups that are not important, or even annoying?
In fact, sometimes we don’t actually follow or be friends with those accounts.
Now, if friends experience it often, there is an easy way to stop it, here!
For Personal Accounts
There are two types of accounts on Instagram that we can choose from, namely personal accounts and business accounts.
Although there is no special way to stop invitations from other people on personal accounts, there are three options that we can use instead.
First, turn off notifications for group requests, secondly leave the group, and thirdly block accounts that add us.
To turn off notifications for group requests, go to Profile, tap the menu icon in the upper right corner, then tap Settings to Notifications and select Direct Message or Messaging.

For Brand Accounts
Then, what about professional and business accounts?
Go to the Profile menu, then look at the three lines icon on the top right, click on the icon.

Look for the Settings menu, then go to Privacy, and select Messaging.
Now, in this menu we can change the settings for who can add us to the group.
Choose only accounts that we follow, so that we avoid unnecessary invitations from other people we don’t know on DM Instagram.
