How to set the screen distance in iOS17? Let’s protect the eyes of you, me and children together!
Apple has added many new features to iOS 17 and iPadOS 17. Among them is a “screen distance” that can protect the user’s eyes. It can remind the user when it detects that the user is too close to the screen. This is really a very considerate health function for parents who use the screen for a long time or have children!
According to Apple’s introduction, the “Screen Distance” function is implemented by the original depth-sensing camera on the iPad and iPhone that drives FaceID. As long as the distance between the eyes is detected to be about 30 cm from the screen, the full-screen screen of “iPhone is too close” will pop up, and the “Continue” option will not appear until we pull the screen back to the normal distance.
So how to use “screen distance”?

Step 2. Select “Screen Time” from “Settings” and click “Screen Distance”.
Step 3. Turn on the “Screen Distance” function.
This completes all settings.
