The broadcasting frequencies of the MUX-1, MUX-2 and MUX-4 multiplexes are changing
As recalled, as part of switching the signal to DVB-T2 / HEVC, the frequencies of broadcasting multiplexes will change: MUX-1, MUX-2 and MUX-4, which will be switched to the DVB-T2 / HEVC standard.
“In practice, this means better sound and image quality – all channels will be broadcast in Full HD quality. The MUX-3 multiplex does not change the broadcasting standard temporarily” – indicated.
The Digital Poland Association, in turn, reminds viewers to check whether their TV sets are adapted to the new signal standard.
“Changes in broadcasting digital terrestrial television are taking place gradually from the end of March and will last until the end of June” – reported the Digital Poland Association. As he added, currently within the range of DVB-T2 / HEVC are residents of the following voivodeships: Dolnośląskie, Lubuskie, Kujawsko-Pomorskie, almost the entire Pomorskie, Wielkopolskie and the north-western part of Mazowieckie.

As Michał Kanownik, President of Cyfrowa Polska, pointed out, “it will be the largest area of connection of the new broadcasting standard in Poland”.
