Who doesn’t want to save on heating? In Europe as well as overseas. A Tiktoker from American Minnesota gave a tip on how to reduce your heating bills on cold winter days. He covered the windows with shrink wrap, which he then dried.

A TikTok user shared a video on his profile saying he lives in one of the coldest places in the world. That’s why he wants to show his viewers how to stay warm in the winter and reduce their heating bills. “Today we start the hibernation process,” he says in the video.
She explains that she and her husband live in Minnesota, USA. “I’m not even going to tell you what a difference it makes to our heating bills when we have some insulation on the windows,” says user Shay_creates. She goes on to describe in the video that the insulation kit they use includes duct tape that wraps around the windows and plastic wrap is attached to it.
It also shows that he uses a hair dryer to smooth everything out so the window looks clean and the creases in the film aren’t visible. “In the end, I just trimmed off the excess on the edges so there was no obvious plastic on the windows. Here’s what it looked like when we’re done,” the tiktoker concludes the video.
