Manage permissions for messages received via DM
In the data protection settings it is possible to authorize and filter messages received by direct message. In your profile, click on the menu at the top right of the screen, then on “Settings”. Then select “Confidentiality” and then “Messages”. You will then have the option to choose whether or not to authorize the request for messages in DM, especially on behalf of the people who follow you. If you allow this option, messages will be sent in the Requests section.
This feature currently appears to be provided for creator or professional accounts and mostly for iOS.
