How to Purchase Subsidized Electric Motorbikes in Jakarta: List of Authorized Dealers and Eligibility Criteria

subsidy program electric motor keep rolling. From the target of 200,000 electric motorbike units that will receive subsidies, so far only 114 units have been sold.

PT Surveyor Indonesia as the electric motorbike subsidy verifier said that so far there are 18 brands of electric motorbikes that have received subsidies. The electric motorbike can be purchased at 226 authorized dealers.

“Currently there are 10 companies, with 18 models and 226 dealers who have been verified,” said Commercial Director of PT Surveyor Indonesia Saifuddin Wijaya in a press conference at JIExpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (17/5/2023).

The public can get subsidized electric motorbikes by registering at an authorized dealer appointed by the electric motor manufacturer.

For those who want to get a subsidized electric motorbike, it is enough to come and register at an official dealer with a KTP. After that the Indonesian Surveyor will verify. If the verification has been completed, the buyer can continue the purchase transaction of the electric motorbike that receives a subsidy of IDR 7 million per motorbike.

“Consumers go directly to the dealer and immediately show their NIK on their KTP, but verify whether they meet the required criteria or are entitled to receive this assistance. If this has been done, they will be entered by the dealer again, after that it remains only to administer the STNK and so on, then the motorbike will be delivered, Said Saifuddin.

There are 4 criteria for people who can get subsidies, starting from recipients of wage subsidy assistance (BSU), micro business productive assistance (BPUM), recipients of People’s Business Credit (KUR), and recipients of 450-900 VA electricity subsidies.
