Facebook introduced new tools for its users last year. This tool allows users to see what data about you on Facebook is being viewed by third-party apps and websites. The tool called “Activity outside Facebook” allows users to control these data sharing settings.
Here is a step by step guide on how to use this tool:
How to access activity outside of Facebook

Open Facebook and log in

Now click on the drop down icon on the top right and choose Security and Privacy

Click on Settings and choose Your Facebook information

Then click on the Activity outside Facebook option

How to view all apps and websites accessing Facebook activity information outside of Facebook

On the Non-Facebook activity page, click Manage your non-Facebook activity. Enter your password for verification. Here you will see the list of all the apps and websites linked to your Facebook account.

How to turn off non-Facebook activity for apps and websites

Follow the steps mentioned above and then choose the app or website for which you want to opt out of Facebook activity.

Click on it and scroll down to find the option “Disable future Truecaller activity: ID and spam blocking”. Click it to turn off non-Facebook activity for that particular app or website.

How to turn off non-Facebook activity for all apps and websites at once

Click on Manage future activities from the Non-Facebook activity page

Then click on Manage Facebook activity again in the pop-up window

On the next page, turn off the future non-Facebook activity toggle to turn off all future non-Facebook activity.

How to clear the history of non-Facebook activity

To do this, simply click on the Clear History button on the Activity outside of Facebook page. Confirm by clicking the Clear History button in the pop-up window.
