- Fill the bucket with a shovel full compost ready-made or fill about 1/3 of the container.
- Use good quality compost.
- Fill the bucket with water up to a few inches from the top.
- Let the mixture sit for three or four days.
- Stir the compost and soil mixture frequently.
- After that, strain the mixture with a porous cloth.
- Pour the remaining compost into the garden or put it back into the compost pile.
- Dilute the remaining liquid fertilizer in a 10:1 ratio of water and tea.
- A more concentrated solution can be used to water the plant occasionally. While a more dilute solution can be used to spray the leaves.
2. How to make organic fertilizer from grass and weeds
Fertilizing lawns is a great way to save time and money of course. The use of turf fertilizers on crops provides several advantages such as less risk of plant diseases and pests, increased overall growth, and protects the soil.
To make grass fertilizer, you can do the following steps:
- Fill the bucket with fresh grass clippings, about 2/3 full.
