How to Make Light Bokeh with the Night Flare Feature on OPPO Reno4

OPPO Reno4 brings the Night Flare Portrait feature to the new world of mobile photography. This is one of the four features that OPPO Reno4 boasts and is said to be able to display beautiful bokeh photo effects at night.

Night Flare Portrait combines the capabilities of the portrait mode and night mode features to produce detailed night portraits without the need for much editing. Night Flare Portrait is an extension of Ultra Dark Mode on OPPO Reno2 to strengthen the lighting in dark conditions.

However, the Night Flare Mode on OPPO Reno4 works more specifically than the Ultra Dark Mode on OPPO Reno2 which is specifically designed to capture human objects sharply and brightly even in low light situations.

This makes the night photos produced by OPPO Reno4 able to create an artistic neon bokeh effect from the night light in the background like using a DSLR camera. This feature is very useful for capturing photos, for example when on a rooftop, lantern garden, to the main city street filled with building lights.

The Night Flare Mode feature is immersed in the OPPO Reno4 rear camera. As for how to use it, users only need to enter the camera, select portrait, select the filter (top center side, according to the image) and select Night Flare Mode (according to the image).

For the record, this filter can only detect objects that are identified as humans because it uses a face detector. Then besides the Night Flare Mode, OPPO Reno4 is also equipped with other features that support videography and mobile photography, such as AI Color Portrait, 960fps AI Slow Motion, and AI Monochrome Video.
