Last Monday June 28 the Madrid’s community has inaugurated the uninterrupted vaccination schedule, implemented in the Isabel Zendal public hospital, for massive injections. From the regional executive they estimate to inoculate about 20,000 daily doses, a forecast that would reach 150,000 weekly vaccines.
The mass immunization plan has some nuances to take into account. Enrique Ruiz Escudero, Community Health Council, has specified that the shifts are self-citing. On the other hand, appointments granted by telephone or message will only be made in hours from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.. To achieve the estimated figures, the center will keep pavilion three operating. In addition, number one has been conditioned to be used if circumstances require it.
Who can attend?
At the moment, appointments have been made to those over 40 who have not received any doses. They will be able to use the mobile application Virtual Health Card, authorized by the Community of Madrid, to choose the day and time. The place is added to that choice, a total of 32 points, including the Emergency Hospital. Appointments will be booked first thing in the day, late at night, or even early in the morning.
How to make an appointment?
There are two options to book a vaccination appointment. The most common is direct access to the web portal of the Community of Madrid. However, a second way is provided, through the mobile application of the Virtual Health Card. To do this, it will be necessary to associate a phone and request an activation pin. After entering the data, users must select their appointment, under the requirement of being in the age range enabled. How to get?
The Hospital de Emergencias Nurse Isabel Zendal is located in the Manuel Fraga Iribarte Avenue 2, in a residential area of Valdebebas, in the north of the capital.
The easiest way to get to medical facilities is to use the EMT line commissioning for this service. It has a direct connection with the station Cercanías de Valdebebas (Renfe line C-1) and with Feria de Madrid Metro (Metro line 8). This service is operational from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., with a frequency of 20 minutes.
How to park?
Those who decide to access with their private vehicle should take into account the difficulties in finding parking in the area. From the networks, many Madrilenians have expressed their dissatisfaction with the imposition of fines. A reality that shows that the promise to build a parking lot, announced last April, has not been fulfilled
