How to make a portal to hell

Minecraft offers some of the most peaceful and serene environments to enjoy. However, at the same time, it contains all the tools for players to explore locations that need to be emphasized.

This separate dimension brought hell to players with creatures and items not available in the Overworld. The Nether is a great sight for any Minecraft player, as it helps them with the items they need to improve their life in nature.

However, unlike normal locations in the Overworld, players could not only enter Hell as if it were a nearby village. Instead, players had to create a Nether portal, which would take them to that realm, where they could find new items, kill monsters, and earn lots of XP as well. After they completed all their missions, they could easily return to the Upper World using the same Nether Portal.

To create a portal, players must collect obsidian, a dark purple solid object known for its power. Players can only harvest these blocks with Diamond Axes or Netherite, which is another matter to craft, as the items required for them are hard to find.

However, there is another method that players can use, and for this they need a bucket of water, a fireproof block, a lava basin, and an empty bucket. In Minecraft, obsidian is created when water is poured over hot lava. This mass is then harvested using the ax mentioned above. However, with strategic placement, players do not need to harvest them.

To do this, players must find the source of the lava, and then, they must choose a side that is four blocks long. Next, the player must place a fire-resistant block such as Cobblestone in the second or third lava block. Once this is done, drop water using a water bucket onto the lava block adjacent to the cobblestone, making obsidian. Next, break the cobblestone blocks, allowing water to flow over the lava to create more obsidian.

When you’re done, create two blocks and an L-shaped cobblestone structure on the block adjacent to Obsidian on the far side. Place a water source on the L-shaped structure to create an endless shower of water, which is then used to make obsidian by pouring lava using a bucket over it. Players must repeat this step, until they create a 4×3 structure from obsidian, which is the minimum portal size requirement.

This completes the construction of the portal and in order to open it, players must fire up the portal with Flint and Steel to easily travel to the Nether whenever they want.
