If you still have your old iPhone
If you still have your old iPhone, you can use it to pair your Apple Watch with your new iPhone. This only works if you WatchOS 2 or later on your Watch. If not, you’ll need to upgrade to WatchOS 2 before continuing.
Check your Health and Activity settings
- Open the app’Healthon your new iPhone;
- At the top of the screen, click ‘Sources‘;
- At the bottom click on ‘Add‘;
- Find and select ‘Apple Watch‘ and then click ‘Add‘;
- Make sure the function ‘Step count‘ is enabled.
Back up your old iPhone

- Be within range of each other.
- Both are turned off.
