How to legally lower your ISEE with a simple and ingenious method that empties your current account and savings account

The State provides citizens with numerous concessions and bonuses, most of which are linked to the ISEE. The declaration, in fact, returns a photograph of the socio-economic situation of the family unit. In this way the aid disbursed ends up in the pockets of the most needy citizens. In some cases, in addition to determining the right, the ISEE also affects the amount received. As in the case, for example, ofsingle allowance for children or citizenship income.

It does not return the real economic condition

The big problem that the citizen has to face, however, is that the ISEE does not return the real and present situation of the family. Because for the compilation of the declaration valid for the whole of 2022, income and assets of 2020 are taken into consideration.

And it is precisely for this reason that families often look for how to legally lower the ISEE. In most cases, the income situation may have worsened from 2020 to 2022: a member of the family unit may have lost their job. Or the use of the NASPI can be terminated. In these cases it is possible to intervene, to lower the value, with the current ISEE. In other cases, however, it is the movable assets that preclude access to a specific concession.

When the balances in the current account or the savings book are too high, it is difficult to intervene. But there is a solution that not everyone thinks about and it is represented by cashier’s check.

Empty the current account so that in the future the ISEE calculation does not fall within these values. In this way it is not difficult and above all you do not run into an illegal method. To empty your current account or savings book, you can ask your bank to issue a cashier’s check in the name of a person you trust. For added security, then, you will have to keep the check without actually delivering it to the other person (who could cash it, otherwise).

Until the beneficiary asks to cash the cashier’s check, in fact, the money is held in custody by the bank. In this way, they no longer appear on the inventories of those who asked for them to be issued. Obviously after a certain period it is necessary to ask for the revocation of the check. The cashier’s check can be cashed by the beneficiary within 3 years of issue. After 3 years and up to 10 years from the issue, the person who issued it can request a refund.
