Dopamine hormone or neurotransmitter is the “feel good” hormone, which is produced by the human brain and body to provide feelings of pleasure. Typically, this involves memory, attention, and controlling physical movements. If you want to increase this hormone so you can be happier, there are several ways to get it.

According to Baptist Health, there are at least six ways to get the hormone dopamine. Here are six ways:

Regular exercise. Physical activity is known to elevate mood. Although the increase is not entirely due to dopamine, research has shown that exercise can increase dopamine levels in the brain.
Eat protein and reduce saturated fat. Protein is made up of amino acids, one of which is called tyrosine. Consuming tyrosine protein foods can help the body produce dopamine. Conversely, if you consume too much saturated fat, such as full-fat milk, butter, animal fat, palm oil, and coconut oil, it can interfere with dopamine production.
Get enough sleep. Studies have found that sleep deprivation can interfere with the normal morning cycle of dopamine release. Therefore, the body needs enough sleep so that the levels of dopamine can increase.

Meditation. Meditation is associated with better mental and physical health. This is associated with increased production of dopamine. You can meditate while sitting, standing, or even walking.
Get enough sunlight. According to research, sun exposure can increase the density of dopamine receptors in certain areas of the brain. Nonetheless, you still need to follow safety guidelines regarding sun exposure as it is associated with an increased risk of conditions such as skin cancer.
Listening to music. Music is one activity that can increase pleasure in the brain area. This is because music can create an emotional response, such as triggering goosebumps that can increase dopamine levels.

Hormon Endorfin

Beauties, do you know? Endorphins are known as the body’s “natural pain reliever” hormones. This is because the body produces endorphins in response to stress or discomfort.

According to Cleveland Clinic, Endorphins come from the word “Endogenous” which means in the body, and “morphine” which is a pain reliever. When combined, both have the meaning of endorphins which means natural pain relievers.

Meanwhile, as reported by healthline, there are at least five ways to get endorphins. Here are five ways:

acupuncture. Acupuncture is a type of Chinese medicine that uses thin needles to stimulate pressure points. According to research, endorphins will be obtained when the needle is inserted into the body. For those of you who want to try acupuncture, you don’t need to worry. Because, this treatment is safe to do because besides being able to treat the disease, it can also give positive feelings
Eat chocolate. Eating chocolate can produce endorphins, which can increase feelings of happiness. Therefore, if you are currently feeling sad or stressed, you can try eating chocolate so that you can feel good again.
Laugh. Beauties, did you know that laughter can help you get endorphins? This is because laughter helps lift a bad mood and relieve feelings of anxiety and stress. Additionally, in a small 2017 study, evidence was found to suggest that watching a half hour comedy with a group of friends can increase endorphin levels.

Listening to music. You must have felt euphoria when listening to music, right, Beauties? That feeling can happen because the body releases endorphins. By listening to music, you can increase your good feelings and be in a better mood.
Watching. Watching movies or dramas can also be a way to get endorphins. When you watch something, for example a sad movie, indirectly you will feel sad too. This sad feeling will make the brain react by releasing endorphins.
