Facebook Messenger introduced the multi-account option in February 2016. It was first available on Android, and months later on the iOS system, a mode similar to the one they incorporated Facebook and Instagram.
This function is used to be able to switch between personal and corporate or business accounts without the need to log out and log in again each time you want to log in.
The step by step to incorporate another account in Facebook Messenger and change them easily
- Go to the account profile.
- Press on the option “Change account”.
- In this window the account with which you are already logged into Facebook is displayed Messenger, and later any other that you add will appear. To add a new one press the + button.
- Once more accounts have been added to Facebook Messenger, click on the profile picture to open the options window and tap Switch account again. Right here you can see a notification in red, alerting you if there are unread messages in any of the other accounts.
- If when you created the account you specified that it was necessary to ask for the password every time you log in, you will have to enter the password. If not, you will go directly to the welcome window indicating that you have changed your Facebook Messenger account.
