If you have lost or damaged your anticovid vaccination card, you can get another one. For this you need your ID and know which health area belongs to the vaccination center to which you went to apply the dose.
The identity document is entered into a scanner and the report of the doses that was placed and from which pharmacist should appear, explained Mary Pilar Paulino, in charge of the center located in Plaza Lama.
Dr. Elsa Lima, from the vaccination center in Plaza Duarte, explained that for this, the IDs of those who are vaccinated are scanned to have a record of attendance.

In the case of minors who do not have an ID, the document of the adult who represents them is used.

Penalty for forgery
The Ministry of Public Health warned that the falsification of vaccination cards will be sanctioned with measures of coercion ranging from three to 10 years in prison, as established by the Dominican Penal Code.
The institution established in its resolution 000048 that the sanction will also be applied against those who falsify the special permits it grants and the PCR tests to detect SARS-CoV-2.
The Health Ministry urged the establishments to report the irregularities.

As of Monday, October 18, people 12 years of age and older must present their vaccination card to access public places, schools or public transport.
