NEW YORK – The New York City Grand Reopening Concert, What is his name? “We Love NYC: The Homecoming Concert”will take place on Saturday, August 21 at 5:00 pm in Central Park with a hugely successful musical programming, Mayor Bill de Blasio said during his press conference on Tuesday.
The free concert was planned to carry a message that “New York is back” to the world, and the mayor noted that some of the city’s favorite artists will perform.
People attending the concert must present proof of vaccination, the mayor clarified Tuesday.

New York City will offer free tickets to the general public, as well as VIP tickets for sale.
Ticket sales will be launched in batches at nyc.gov/HomecomingWeek starting August 2 at 10:00 am ET. More releases are scheduled for:

- Wednesday, August 4 at 9:00 p.m. EDT
- Thursday, August 5 at 7:00 a.m. EDT
- Friday, August 6 at 10:00 am EDT

On the other hand, the mayor had announced that it will also bring iconic concerts to each of the five boroughs.
Although the artists who will participate in the additional concerts have not been revealed, the city has indicated when and where the “iconic concerts” will take place.
