The wasps do a lot of good, but when they become too many it can be really painful – and painful, if you happen to get stung.
In some cases they are attracted to something good that you eat and drink, in other cases they simply have only one nest nearby.
But do not worry, you can get rid of the wasps. You just need to build a simple, yet effective, trap.
You avoid the wasps with a simple trap
In addition to removing the wasp nests near your home at an early stage, you can, according to Anticimex, arrange your own trap to avoid the wasps.
This is what you need for the trap:
- An empty PET bottle.
- A piece of paper.
- A sweet liquid such as juice or syrup.
Make a hole in the middle of the side of the bottle. Then roll up the piece of paper and insert it into the hole so far that it does not protrude on the outside of the bottle. Then fill the bottle with the sweet liquid.
In this trap, the wasps find their way in, but not out.
