The Sostegni Decree provides for important aid to businesses. Specifically, these are loans to be repaid in 5 years.
Large companies are in dire straits due to the health emergency. The reason is very simple, revenues have dropped despite costs have remained almost unchanged. For this reason the Draghi Government has provided for in Aid to enterprises decree. The executive has made available 250 million euros to try to give big companies a shot in the arm.
Obviously not everyone will be able to take advantage of the loan to be repaid within 5 years. It goes without saying that entrepreneurs will have to return what they have obtained, but with these funds they could overcome this deadlock. The aim is to ensure the operational continuity of large companies.

Aid to businesses: who can apply for the loan
Aid to businesses wanted by the Government will only concern companies with at least 250 employees or alternatively with a turnover of more than 50 million or a budget of over 43 million euros. There is therefore talk of a limited number of companies which, given their size, are struggling in this historical period of economic stalemate.
The sums will be managed directly by the Ministry of Economic Development through the creation of a special fund that can only be used by companies not deceased before the crisis. Loans can also be granted to companies in extraordinary administration. The main condition for receiving support, however, is one: “full repayment of the exposure at maturity can reasonably be assumed“.
