TRIBUNNEWS.COM – To ease the burden on the community, the Government provides direct cash assistance (BLT) for cooking oil.
The decision was conveyed by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) in a press statement, Friday (1/4/2022) at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta.
“We know that the price of cooking oil has risen quite high as a result of the spike in palm oil prices on the international market. To ease the burden on the people, the government will provide cooking oil BLT,” said the President.

Assistance will be given in the amount of IDR 100 thousand per month.
This assistance will be given for three months at a time, namely April, May, and June and paid in advance in April 2022 in the amount of IDR 300 thousand.

The President explained, this assistance will be channeled to:
1. Families of recipients of Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT);
2. Family Hope Program (PKH);
