Users who find this Snapchat continuing to disconnect them from their account may have difficulty resolving the issue. There are a number of reasons why Snapchat may continue to log a user out, but it’s hard to say which could be the problem. This problem seems to strike at random, and we haven’t found any correlation between those reporting it. This isn’t the first time Snapchat has had issues. Over the past few months, we’ve seen image upload issues, not updating Snapchat scores, and camera errors.
Why does Snapchat keep signing me out?
Many users have come across Snapchat by logging them out from time to time. Sometimes the app logs out users when it or the phone’s operating system is updated. However, some users report that they are logged out moments after logging into Snapchat. Some receive a message indicating that there is a server error, while others receive no feedback.
We recently saw several users complaining about this issue to Snapchat’s Twitter support. However, other than saying the issue is under review, Snapchat has not commented at all.
It is possible that the issue is with the Snapchat app itself or the service’s servers. In this case, the only solution is to wait until the problem is resolved on the company’s side. However, there are a few fixes to try if Snapchat continues to disconnect a user:
Sign out of all other devices and remove access to third-party apps.
Although not explicitly stated, Snapchat can log users out if they have logged into their account on too many devices. To resolve this issue, simply sign out of the app on any other device. Connecting Snapchat to a third-party app can also trigger this behavior. If so, revoke those permissions through Snapchat’s settings menu.
Users should also take security measures in case someone signing in to their account forces Snapchat to sign out. Change passwords often and see which apps are connected to Snapchat.
