For those of you Minecraft Pocket Edition players, you must have experienced lag problems if this game was played on devices with “low-end” or when run concurrently with other applications (multitasking).
Following from Gamertweak, there are several factors to consider regarding the lag issue in Minecraft Pocket Edition. Some methods also work on both Android and iOS devices.
Free up RAM
The more empty RAM, the better performance you will feel. If you have a phone with 6 or 8GB of RAM, you can play this game freely. However, if you have less RAM than that, you can empty it with a RAM optimization application to stop unused running applications.

How to clean RAM:
– iOS
1. Double-click the home button on the iPhone.
2. Swipe and clean all the apps you don’t use.
– Android
1. Click the “recent apps” for the button that displays the running application.
2. Swipe right/left (depending on the type of phone) to stop the running application.
Another way to maximize RAM performance is to close the applications you have open. The habit of pressing the button “home” when it’s done using the app, keeps the app running and consumes RAM.
Clean up storage
Both on Android and iOS there are a lot of files that are created and deleted when you play Minecraft Pocket Edition (Minecraft PE). In this process the game requires storage space on your device, so if you have storage space that is already starting to fill up, the game will take longer to create files or delete them which of course will have an impact on “lag” when the game is running.
For those of you who have this game, it is recommended to have extra storage of around 2 to 4GB.
Ubah “Game Setting”
Resetting the video in Minecraft Pocket Edition will also make significant changes that will make the game run more smoothly.
Here are the settings that you can apply;
– Screen Animation: Off
– Fancy Bubble: Off
– Render Clouds: Off
– Beautiful Skies : Off
– Smooth Lighting: Off
– Fancy Graphics: Off
– Render Distance: 5-6 Rods
Update Game
Lastly, always check for the latest game versions. It could be that the “lag” you are experiencing is caused by a “Bug” which may disappear if you update the game version.
