To use this feature, just do the following.

  1. Open minded Instagram.
  2. Go to yours profile page.
  3. Click on the top right three lines, then ,Settings.’
  4. click ‘Follow and invite friends.’
  5. Beat ‘Follow contacts’ then ,Continue.’

You should be able to access your contacts from there, provided you’ve allowed it in your device settings.

According to Instagram: “We will use your contacts to help you find people you know and help them find you. Your contacts are regularly synchronized and stored on our servers. You can turn off syncing at any time in Settings.”
