In general, it’s a strange story, it’s not clear why CDPR nailed the inclusion of ray reconstruction to the inclusion of path tracing. According to all the announcements, it should work on any RTX, without being tied to PT, and so it is, it works.

How to do
We turn on lighting with rays in the settings and make all our usual settings, close the game. Open the config file UserSettings.json, located on the path %LOCALAPPDATA%CD Projekt RedCyberpunk 2077, find the DLSS_D directive there and assign the value and default_value parameters to true instead of false. To prevent the game from overwriting the settings at startup, we make the file read-only.

And it works. And it works awesome, although on my 3070 fps it drops from a meager 50 fps to an even more meager 43. But it’s worth it.
In comparison it looks like this, the difference in reflections is colossal!
In general, I don’t like RTX reflections in the game and everything else, I play without it, but I must admit that PT + reconstruction is already a top-notch game changer, it makes me want to run for 4090.
