How to Enable Clipboard History in Windows 11

To maximize the use of Windows 10 or Windows 11, it’s a good idea to activate the feature clipboard history in the system we use. Function of clipboard history This itself will display a collection of what you have copy / translate previously, where it could include say or picture.

In short it can be said that with clipboard history we can paste back at least 25 historical lists of what has happened clipboard save, with that we don’t need to re-copy the thing we want to paste as long as it is still saved in this feature.

However, please note that this feature is not active by default, either on Windows 10 or Windows 11, we need to activate it manually, and here WinPoin summarizes the short steps.

How to Enable Clipboard History in Windows 11

For a quick method, please press keyboard shortcut Win + V simultaneously, then in the window that will appear, please click Turn on to enable the feature clipboard history.

However, for more extensive settings, you can follow these steps:

Step 1. First, please open Settings > System > Clipboard.

Step 2. On that page, make sure Toggle in section Clipboard history is in position On.

On this page, you can also arrange several sections such as: Share across devices with which we can share clipboard with other devices with the same Microsoft account.

Then there is Clean clipboard data to delete all clipboard history lists, and Suggested actions which will appear when you want to copy date, time or phone number.

For me, this feature is very useful and an important part of using the Windows operating system. For those who don’t know, this feature itself was first introduced in Windows 10 1809, and has developed further along with the evolution and updates of the Windows operating system.
