Jakarta –
If you are a Telkomsel user, there are several ways you can deactivate or unregister your Telkomsel card easily and quickly, as explained on the official website. Then how?
Currently, to be able to use a prepaid SIM card, users are required to register using their NIK and KK number. Registration can also only be done for a maximum of three numbers for one NIK, so if the NIK has been registered with three numbers, you are required to unregister or deactivate one of the numbers already registered.
But for those of you who use Telkomsel numbers, don’t worry because Telkomsel provides an opportunity for its users to easily deactivate or unregister SIM cards that have been registered. In the following, detikInet will summarize how to unregister Telkomsel cards, as reported by Telkomsel’s official website.
Unregister Telkomsel Card via SMS
- Prepare your Family Card number
- Send an SMS to number 4444 with the format UNREG#KK Number using the Telkomsel number you want to unregister
- Wait for a follow-up notification from the number you want to unregister.
Unregister Telkomsel Card via Dial-Up
- Prepare your KTP, KK, and Telkomsel number that you want to unregister
- Open the call menu and make a call to the USSD number *444#
- After making the call, type “3” as the code that you want to process the unreg menu
- Then enter the KK number that was used when registering the Telkomsel number
- Wait until you get a notification of your Telkomsel card’s unregistered status.
Unregister Telkomsel Cards Through the GraPARI Office
The next way that you can do to deactivate or unregister Telkomsel numbers is to come directly through the GraPARI office.
It should be noted that before you come, make sure to bring your KTP, Family Card, and the number you want to unregister. Then you just need to go to the officer who is there and follow the procedure.
Unregister Telkomsel Card Through Call Center
If you don’t have time to visit the GraPARI office, don’t worry because Telkomsel also provides services for unregistering cards through its Call Center by calling number 188.
Having the same procedure as coming directly to the GraPARI office, you also need to prepare your KTP, KK, and the number you want to unregister. Then tell the Telkomsel Call Center staff if you want to unregister your Telkomsel card.
How to Unregister Lost and Damaged Telkomsel Cards
If you want to unregister your Telkomsel card but the card you want to unregister is lost, here’s an easy way you can do it:
- You can visit the nearest GraPARI
- Then use MyGraPARI and select “Lost/Damaged SIM Card”
- Then enter your lost or damaged Telkomsel number
- Enter KTP and KK numbers as data validation
- If you have done the above process, a new SIM card with the missing number will come out. And you only need to unreg in one of the ways mentioned above.
Those are some ways you can unregister Telkomsel cards easily and quickly. Good luck and hopefully useful detikers!
