Turn off PS4 without controller
If your PS4 console isn’t working or you can’t access it, turn it off using the button on the console itself.
First, on your PS4 console, press and hold the power button for 7 seconds. When you hear the second beep, release the button and the unit turns off.
If you release the power button before the second beep, the console will go into sleep mode instead, so make sure you do it correctly.
warning: Regardless of the shutdown method used, make sure the PS4’s power light has stopped blinking before unplugging the power cord. Otherwise, the console software may be damaged and unusable.
Your PlayStation 4 will shut down to save energy. You can rest and go out and explore nature or do something you like.
Once back in the game, you can easily restart your PS4.
