Delete Snapchat details
When you delete Snapchat, your account will be disabled for 30 days. During that window, friends will not be able to “contact or interact” with you.
For the first 30 days after deletion, you can choose to reactivate your Snapchat account by simply logging in to the app again with your username and password (email login will not work and you will not be able to change your password).
After a further 30 days (60 in total) your Snapchat account will be permanently deleted. It includes your account, friends, Snaps, Chats, Story, account settings, device data and location data.
Snapchat notes, however, that it will “retain some personal data for certain legal, security and business needs.” It includes details like purchase history.
