Thousands of households are already preparing for celebrate Christmas and if there is an element that cannot be missing in our house it is the tree. Of different sizes and decorations, setting up the Christmas tree becomes one of the most special practices of the year before these important dates arrive, also for the main personalities from all over the world. For this reason, below we are going to collect the steps you must take if you have not yet assembled yours and want to do it as the famous do.
1. Get a tree
The first that we should have in our house is a tree. It seems obvious, but we have several options. Of course, depending on our purchasing power, we can enjoy a natural one – there are specialized stores in this – or an artificial one, an option that is usually preferred by most. Also, within this, we can decide the size of our tree, always depending on the space we have in our home.
2. Gather all the decorations
With our tree already installed at home, and knowing its size, the next thing we should do is start gathering the decorations that we want to put on it. Although there are still a few days left before winter officially begins, we can take advantage of the last blows of autumn to go to the field and collect leaves and branches that give that natural and personalized touch to our tree -and, of course, economical- .

3. The lights around the branches
After we have gathered all the decorations that we want to put on our tree and just before installing them, we will have to place the Christmas lights that we are going to put on it and that are essential for it to look unbeatable. For a matter of comfort and ease, the installation of lights should always be the first thing we do before decorating our tree, since we must play with the branches and surround the trunk to ‘camouflage’ these brilliants.
4. Natural leaves and branches
The next step to this will be place the branches that we have been able to collect in the forest and that will give a greater volume to our tree and, of course, naturalness and aromatization, not to mention the range of colors that they will provide once they dry out over the days. Thanks to this, we will break the monotony and we will see our Christmas tree in different ways throughout the days.
5. Add all our ornaments
Once the tree is assembled, the lights installed and the most natural ornaments added, it is the turn of those more artificial ornaments that we should get in any decoration store. We talk about the typical balls, stars, mistletoes, bows, bells, angels, canes, tinsel and pinecones -the latter can also be included in the natural ornaments-.
This step, like the previous ones, does not have a defined roadmap, so each one can place their ornaments according to their taste. Of course, the star of Bethlehem should be at the top of our tree so you get in the true Christmas spirit.
Special protagonism always usually charge Christmas balls, to which we can give a more personalized touch if we paint our name or ours on them. We can also purchase them directly personalized, if we do not like crafts. It should be added that our tree will always fit all kinds of Christmas elements, and the more we personalize and decorate it to our liking, the better.
6. The bottom and surroundings of the tree
If we already have all our ornaments in place, with the lights well placed and working, We must not forget to also decorate the surroundings of the tree filling the lower part of it with branches and other natural elements such as leaves, to always give it that touch that brings this essential element of Christmas closer to nature.
7. The most winter touch
Finally, and always depending on the taste of each one, we can give it a touch of realism -one more- getting artificial snow, which can also be purchased in any decoration establishment where we have bought the rest of the decorations. Either by means of a spray or in bags, artificial snow serves us precisely to give that more Christmas, more wintery and more realistic touch to our tree and that makes our guests – no more than 10 – are amazed with our Christmas tree.
