Now Microsoft is targeting Windows 10 computer users who are still waiting to switch to Windows 11, the latest version of the American giant’s operating system. There is something to fight for, because – as can be seen from StatCounter data – as many as 66.5% still work under the control of “10”. all Windows devices (in the case of version 11 it is only 27.8%).

As he notes Windows Lates service t, Windows 10 users are again shown a message encouraging them to upgrade to Windows 11. “Microsoft recommends Windows 11 for your computer,” we read in the headline. The pop-up window covers almost the entire screen surface, and at the bottom there are two buttons – to reject the installation of a new system or download an update. Traditionally, the second one is better marked.

According to the website, annoying messages about the possibility of switching to Windows 11 are displayed to users who decided to install the optional January update for Windows 10. Microsoft uses every opportunity to remind that “11” is just waiting to be on their computers.

Even though updating to the latest version of Microsoft’s system is free, only 1/4 of all Windows users use Windows 11. However, perhaps the share of the system will soon start to grow, because next year the company will end support for Windows 10. According to the schedule, using “10” after October 2025 will be quite risky.
