How to open Control Center on iPadOS

Accessing this interface is very simple, since you only have to place your finger on the Right upper corner from the screen and swipe down. It will not matter if the iPad is horizontally or vertically, since the way to open it is the same. To close it later you will have to do the gesture in reverse. There is also the possibility of opening the Control Center through gestures with a trackpad or the Magic Mouse and even with a mouse with configurable buttons, but for this it has to be configured from their respective settings within Accessibility.

Customize the Control Center

The first 12 functions shown in the first section are immovable and will always be present in the iPad Control Center. However, it is possible to configure the rest in a very simple way. For this you must go to Settings> Control Center. As soon as you access this configuration, you will find the possibility to allow or not access to this interface if you are in an application. Choose what you think is convenient and then go to “Customize controls”.

Customize iPad Control Center

Once you are in the panel shown in the previous screenshot, you will see two different sections: include and more controls. Under “Include” are those functions that appear in the Control Center. To add them, you just have to press the green button ‘+’ located to the left of them. Once you add them you can order them to your liking by clicking on the three stripes to the right of any of them and sliding up or down. If you want to remove any function from the panel, you just have to press the red button ‘-‘.

As you have seen, managing the Control Center on an iPad is really simple and can be very useful by saving you steps to activate or deactivate certain functions.
