The instant messaging application WhatsApp has innumerable tricks that seek to facilitate and improve the experience of its users on the network. However, many of these tools are unknown to the vast majority of us.
One of these functions that not all users who use WhatsApp know is that groups can be created in the app where only administrators can send messages.
With this configuration, only administrators will be able to speak and other members will only be able to access the information they share. In this way, You can send important messages to many people, but without the group becoming saturated with content that hides what is truly useful.
Who has not happened that due to the multitude of people in a group in the end they do not find out what is really important? Not everyone knows about this function, but it is really useful, since sometimes there are members who comment on information proposed by the administrator and, In the end, latecomers have to search through hundreds of messages until they find the beginning of the conversation and find out what happens.
Today, we show you how you can configure a WhatsApp group so that only administrators can send messages and, thus, the information reaches all members of the group:
First of all, you have to create the group as you normally do. and add the people you want to make known to. Once the group has been created, you must click on the name and access ‘Group settings’.
There, select ‘Edit info. of the group‘and choose who can change the subject, icon and description of the group. Finally, go to the option ‘Send messages’ and click on ‘Administrators only’.
