IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) is a unique identification number assigned to every mobile device, including Android phones and iPhones. Each device has a different IMEI and cannot be changed.
IMEI is used by network operators and regulatory authorities to track and identify devices connected to cellular networks. In Indonesia, IMEI can also be used to determine whether the device is entered officially or illegally, aka BM.

How to Check IMEI for Android Phones
1. Setting Ponsel
- Open Settings on HP
- Scroll down until you find About Phone, then press it
- We will find the IMEI number
2. Via *#06#
For this method, you open the dial menu which is then followed by typing *#06#. It doesn’t take long, the IMEI number will appear on the cellphone screen.
3. Cellphone Cardboard
We can find the IMEI on the cellphone box. Usually there will be listed the IMEI along with other information.
How to Check iPhone IMEI
1. Setting Ponsel
- Go to Settings on iPhone
- Select About Phone
- Scroll down until you find the IMEI number

How to Check HP IMEI is Registered or Not at the Ministry of Industry
- Copy the IMEI number of Android and iPhone cellphones
