How to Block Unwanted Calls on iPhone: Tips and Tricks

The first method:

Silencing Unknown Callers feature
You can take advantage of the Silence Unknown Callers feature, to keep annoying callers away, as the feature can block numbers that have not called you before; But it will also block people who are not saved in your contact list.

  1. Go to settings.
  2. Scroll down to Phone and tap on it.
  3. Click on Silence Unknown Callers.
  4. Toggle the switch to the on position, making sure it turns green.

The second method:
Use the TrueCaller app
There are plenty of third-party apps that you can use to block spam calls and one of the most popular apps that iPhone users are obsessed with is TrueCaller.

  1. Download TrueCaller from the Apple App Store and launch it.
  2. Tap Next a few times to complete the setup slideshow.
  3. Click on start.
  4. Follow the instructions for turning on all the Truecaller toggles via the Settings app. Go back to the TrueCaller app.
  5. Click Continue
  6. Enter your number and click Confirm.
  7. Click Agree & Continue (if you agree to the app’s privacy policy).
  8. Enter the One Time Password sent to your phone and tap Continue.
  9. Create your profile and click continue.
  10. You will be asked to specify whether you want the app to track you or not, in which case clicking on Ask App Not Track.
  11. You will also be asked if you want special offers and promotions, press Yes or No and press Continue.
  12. If you want notifications about blocked calls, tap On.
