O Big Brother Brasil 2024 begins this Friday (5), the countdown to the start of the new season of reality show, with a premiere date scheduled for next Tuesday (8). The announcement of the participants, especially the boxes, promises to buzz social networks with information, such as Instagram and X (formerly Twitter).

But if you’re not a fan of the show, and don’t want to be bombarded with posts about it, know that it’s possible block BBB on Instagram. Android cell phones and iPhones (iOS) have native features capable of silencing publications, notes and comments related to the attraction’s content.
But that is not all! You can also sideline those friends who can’t live without posting gossip and love talking about BBB all the time while the program is on air.
How to block BBB 24 on Instagram
If you are part of the group of Brazilians who are not interested in reality shows, and want to know how to block BBB on Instagramjust follow the steps below:
- The first step is to silence friends who are addicted to the program. Access the “commentators” profiles on Instagram and then tap “Following”. Once this is done, select the “Silence” option and activate the options that interest you.
- In the second stage, comes the mute words related to BBB on Instagram. To do this, start by accessing your profile and tapping on the three stripes that open the menu. Next, go to “Settings”.
- In this tab, access the “Privacy” section and tap the “Hidden words” option.
- On the new screen, go to the “Messages and comments” section and select the “Manage custom words and phrases” option. Now you must write the terms you want to silence. Finish with “Add”.
Regarding comments related to the program:
